Webster Street, Marina

PROJECT SUMMARY

Tasked with a complete renovation and fourth-floor addition of a two-unit building in the Marina District, the scope of this project included two kitchens, five full bathrooms and two half bathrooms as well as a 300 square-foot terrace and roof deck. Custom casework was done throughout the building and two staircases were specifically designed and constructed for these clients. Additionally, we addressed the building's overall acoustics to reduce sound transfer between the units. Mid-stream during the project, we were asked to manage a full seismic upgrade and despite this additional requirement, the project’s completion date was not extended. In fact, the renovation began in May, 2007 and the Certificate of Occupancy was issued less than a year later, in March, 2008.

"Thompson Suskind told us what they were going to do and they did it. They came in on budget and on time, and the workmanship was top-notch. And when we encountered speed bumps, they handled them perfectly and solved every problem.

"We sold our condo a month ago and it paid off in spades. I know that when I recommend Thompson Suskind to someone else, they're going to do a great job."
